Historical Archive
An artistic heritage of priceless value and beauty made up of paintings, sculptures, archaeological finds, libraries and buildings testify to Generali’s constant commitment to culture over its centuries-long insurance activity.
This exceptional heritage also comprises three historical Archives (Generali, INA-Assitalia and Toro Assicurazioni), declared cultural heritage of historical interest by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism in recognition of their value not only for the company but for all citizens as a “good that constitutes material testimony of civilisation”. This site section was created to promote this heritage by opening the doors to online consultation with the progressive publication of databases, accompanied by digital reproductions, and at the same time to recount Generali’s culture through the living papers of its Archive. Galleries of images, articles and news will flag Archive curiosities, discoveries, publications and events.
